Hi - I really, really like the christmas cards you’ve got on the site. I found your site via drawn.ca (the a-z book). I run an ecard site, which, I think (I am biased of course), isn’t your normal run of the mill soft-focus-kitten cheesy ecard site. I wondered if you would agree to me hosting some / all of your xmas card designs on my site, for people to send as ecards? It’s a bit late for the 2007 season, but anyway, as I’ve found them tonight, I thought I’d ask tonight.
If you agree, each ecard would be displayed as an image. The user would see your design on my site, but could click on the image to return to the URL your specify for each design. I see that each design is attributed to the relevant artist, so I could do the same. I would also put a text attribute at the bottom of each ecard design, saying something like “…reprinted with kind permission of AABBCC….”, with a link to the relevant site.
My site doesn’t get a whole lot of traffic. Approx 7-900 hits a day most of the time, with peaks over XMas and Valentines. For XMas 2006: 109,935 unique visitors, and 42,273 ecards sent. So that might send some traffic your way. The designs on your site are so good and original, I just thought I’d ask.
